M/s Marival II is a real ship! The vessel was built in Poland and spent the first 30 years cruising between Gdansk and the city of Hel. In 1995, the ship was brought to Finland and has since operated to many locations in the outer archipelago, e.g. the lighthouse at Söderskär. The ship is in good condition and was partly rebuilt in 1998 and in 2011 to fit modern safety standers and to increase the level of comfort.

The ship is unusually seaworthy for its size and has thus operated many of the lines in the outer archipelago that are too dangerous for most ships of this size. The ship has a bar with A-rights (full rights), two toilets, central heating for cold days and AC for hot days.
